1. Scope of Work

Sizzle agrees to provide the following services to the Client under the Ember Essentials Website Package:

Package Deliverables

Website Design & Development

• Up to 3 pages (e.g., Home, About, Contact)
• Custom design tailored to match your brand with basic styling
• Responsive Design optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop devices

CMS Integration

• Integration with an easy-to-use Content Management System (e.g., WordPress, Webflow) for simple content management
• Basic training session on how to manage and update your website

Basic SEO Setup

• Basic SEO optimization for page titles, meta descriptions, and image alt tags

Contact Form Integration

• A simple contact form to capture inquiries

Basic Analytics Setup

• Google Analytics setup to track website traffic

Website Security & Backup

• SSL Certificate installation for secure browsing
• Monthly backups and security monitoring for the first month
• You must purchase a Sizzle Care Plan to maintain your investment.

2. Timeline

The Ember Essentials package operates on a 1-2 week timeline, with design and development completed within this period. Sizzle will provide a detailed project timeline with milestones and deadlines.

3. Payment Terms

The total fee for the Ember Essentials Website Package is $1,200.

• 50% Deposit: Due upon signing this agreement to begin the project.
• 50% Final Payment: Due upon project completion and before the website is launched.

Payments will be made online via the payment link emailed after the initial purchase and must be paid within 5 business days to start the next phase.

4. Revisions and Feedback

• The Client is entitled to 1 round of revisions per stage (design and development). Additional revisions will be billed at $95/hour.
• Feedback should be provided within 3 business days of receiving each stage to ensure timely progress.
• A project stall fee of $50/week will be applied if the client does not keep the project moving forward within 10 business days.

5. Client Responsibilities

• Provide access to any necessary assets, branding materials, or content required for the website design and development.
• Be available for scheduled meetings, feedback sessions, and approval of content and design drafts.
• Purchase a Sizzle Care Plan to maintain their investment.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

• Upon full payment, the Client owns the rights to the final website design and development.
• Sizzle retains the right to use select elements or screenshots of the project for promotional purposes in our portfolio and marketing materials.

7. Use of Work & Client Headshot for Promotional Purposes

The Client agrees that Sizzle may use the completed website design, as well as any provided client headshots or brand assets, for promotional purposes, including portfolio showcases, social media, or case studies. Please notify us in writing if you wish to limit this usage.

8. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding all project-related information in alignment with Sizzle’s Secure Information Policy.

9. Termination and Cancellation

• This Agreement may be canceled by either party with 30 days’ written notice. The deposit is non-refundable if canceled after project commencement.
• No refunds will be provided for partial work completed up to the cancellation date.

10. Liability

Sizzle will perform the services to the best of its ability but will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the project.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Missouri, United States.
