Sizzle ("we," "us") operates timetosizzle.com and related products and services. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we collect the following:

• Information you provide: name, email, organization, phone, and project or inquiry details you submit through forms; account and portal credentials; and files, messages, and other materials you upload to client portals or product tools.
• Payment information: when you pay us, our payment processor (Stripe) collects and processes your card and billing details. We do not store full card numbers; we receive limited information such as the last four digits, card brand, and payment status.
• Program-specific information: if you take part in our paid tester program, we collect the payment handle you provide (such as a Venmo or Cash App username) in order to pay you.
• Usage information: pages viewed and device/browser information, and similar analytics data (via Google Analytics and userfinder.io) collected only if you accept analytics cookies.

How we use it

We use this information to respond to inquiries, deliver services and products, operate client portals, send requested newsletters or updates, and improve our websites and software. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing

We may share information with service providers who help us run the business (hosting, email, payments, analytics) under agreements that limit their use of the data. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Cookies

We use functional cookies needed to run the site and, only if you accept our cookie banner, analytics cookies (Google Analytics and userfinder.io) that help us understand traffic and improve the site. You can decline analytics cookies from the banner shown on your first visit, or clear your browser's local storage to change your choice later.

Retention & security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. In general: newsletter and marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them; client, project, and billing records are kept for the life of the engagement and for up to seven years afterward to meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations; uploaded portal files are kept for the life of the project unless you ask us to remove them sooner; and analytics data is retained on a rolling basis per our analytics provider's settings. Residual copies may persist in routine backups for a limited period after deletion. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email. You can also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing bear@timetosizzle.com. We will verify your request (for example, by confirming control of the email address on file) and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, generally within 30 to 45 days.

Your GDPR rights (EEA/UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, Sizzle is the controller of your personal data, and we process it on these lawful bases: to perform a contract with you (delivering services and portals), with your consent (newsletters and analytics cookies), and for our legitimate interests (operating, securing, and improving our business). You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Where we transfer data outside the EEA/UK (for example, to U.S.-based service providers such as Stripe and our hosting and email vendors), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the providers' Standard Contractual Clauses. Your California rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and why, to access the specific information we hold about you, to request its deletion, and to correct inaccurate information. The categories we collect are described in "Information we collect" above (identifiers, commercial/payment information, internet or usage activity, and content you submit). We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
